Winemaker Fantasy – The pitches are rolling in

May 30th is the last day we’ll be accepting pitches in our Winemaker Fantasy contest, and the pitches are rolling in. Loads of winemakers are still putting the finishing touches on their videos this Memorial Day weekend, but a lot have already sent in the finished product too!

As you can see, some of these are familiar faces, folks who already work with Angel funding. And many are brand new. It’s an exciting time because we’ve got a whole range of new winemakers who are all making very good cases for why they should get a chance to make wine for you!

So far the Winemaker Fantasy pitches include:

• Italian wine fermented in terracotta amphorae
• Slovakian Gruner Veltliner and rosé of Cabernet
• A really touching father & son project
• New York Riesling by a home winemaker who has never gotten to work from fruit before
• A cultural exchange program between Argentina and Portugal
• Gewürztraminer from a Monterey winemaker
• South African Pinot Noir
• and much much more!!
